MISSION

OUR MISSION

Suicide Awareness Ride's mission is simple – to provide a platform to heal, shift public perception, spread hope, and share vital information to people affected by suicide. Our goal is ensuring that individuals, friends, and families have access to the resources they need to discuss suicide prevention and to seek help.

What started as a one-time ride in memory of loved ones lost to suicide, has become a powerful annual movement. Now in its 5th year, the 3-Day SuicideAwareness Bike Ride, founded by Victor Banales & Mike Malicdem, has created a growing platform for survivors, supporters, and advocates to take action, build community, and speak up about mental health.

OUR VISION

In the spirit of unity, we come together to support and motivate one another. Showing others, especially the bike life community that it is indeed possible to be heal, find purpose, and ride in memory of the ones we lost.

THE SPIRIT

We are riding in the spirit of connectedness and friendliness, to build camaraderie and adventure. To watch people heal, see them help others, and to watch the loneliness vanish we are able to see a fellowship grow. This is an experience you have to see firsthand. We know it will be life changing.

JOIN US

Ride with us for 3 days across scenic routes, engaging in conversations about mental health and suicide prevention. Together, we can make a difference. Your participation and support will help fund the planning and execution of our rides, support groups, and educational programs for those in need.
